Biography

Mikhail Sterlin is a Litigation Associate at Herold Law, P.A., where he practices complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage, advocating on behalf of policyholders, commercial entities and high-net-worth individuals. He navigates disputes involving Commercial General Liability (CGL), Professional Liability, and Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance.

The Insurance Coverage and Litigation group at Herold Law has a track record of reversing carrier positions to secure benefits for their clients. Mikhail has been involved in negotiating a favorable resolution for a client after a D&O insurer initially denied coverage, assisting with resolving a contested life insurance policy denial in the client’s favor, and securing coverage for multiple corporate clients under CGL policies.

An experienced litigator, Mikhail represents clients at all stages of the legal process, from pre-suit consultation through settlement negotiations and trial proceedings. He regularly appears for oral arguments, case management conferences, and arbitration hearings on behalf of clients.

Early in his career, he was recognized by Northeast New Jersey Legal Services for his commitment to providing pro-bono expungement services.
