Biography

John Kaplan practices in the areas of land use regulation before local zoning and planning boards; real estate-related litigation including land use and title actions; residential real estate transactions; leases; and condominium registrations. Prior to joining Herold Law, P.A., Mr. Kaplan served as Municipal Prosecutor in several New Jersey municipalities and as an attorney for several Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment. Mr. Kaplan received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut, and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, New Jersey. After graduating law school, Mr. Kaplan clerked for the Honorable Virginia A. Long, Associate Justice to the New Jersey Supreme Court (Ret.). He has been admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court (District of New Jersey).
